The foundry of Krasnoye Echo LLC was created based on modern technologies and it specializes in the manufacture of castings for the glass industry.

We produce casting from various types of cast iron and bronze used in the manufacture of high quality mould parts. Our own metallurgical laboratory allows us to carry out a qualitative analysis of the chemical compositions, microstructures of cast irons and bronzes and guarantee the repeatability of the specified parameters during the serial manufacture of castings for glass production.

Our foundry is specialized in the manufacture of castings for the glass industry. Empirically, we have selected specifications for the chemical compositions of cast irons and bronzes with microstructure parameters that are optimal for glass production.

Having the advantage of feedback from our in-house glass production, we selected and tested "in operation" the optimal chemical compositions of cast irons and bronzes, which allowed us to find the best operating modes for glass-forming machines, as well as, in combination with other developments, significantly reduce the percentage of scrap and increase the production speed.

The catalog of Krasnoye Echo LLC contains several types of cast irons with different chemical compositions, microstructure parameters and strength characteristics.

Cast iron with lamellar graphite

Ch3 (REG-3) - Gray low-alloy cast iron with lamellar graphite. It is easy to process and has good thermal conductivity. It is used for the making items on high-speed glass-forming machines.

Cast iron with spheroidal graphite (ductile)

VCh (RES) - Ductile iron with spheroidal (nodular) graphite. It possesses high strength characteristics. It is well polished. It has a low thermal conductivity in comparison with cast iron with lamellar graphite and resistance to burnout.

Cast iron with vermicular graphite

ChVG (REV) - Cast iron with vermicular (compact) graphite form. It has strength properties comparable to ductile iron and thermal conductivity close to cast iron with lamellar graphite.

Constant feedback from the client, understanding of his needs and tasks, allow us to select the necessary in terms of chemical composition and microstructure cast iron or bronze for each part of the mould set.

Many years of experience in the production of glass containers and operation of mould sets, as well as successful research and testing based on our in-house foundry, allow us to select for the client the best materials in accordance with a specific task and to manufacture high quality mould set parts according to the specified parameters.
